Let me tell you about my friend Jay Whitney. Whether it is fundraising for the Go Bo Foundation, Write On, Door County, Secret Santa, or for someone in need in our community, Jay has always been one of the first to say “yes “and share his talent of music to raise funds. This past year Jay suffered a stroke that has left him unable to work, or do the thing he loves - play music. On December 8th Terry Lundahl and a group of volunteers hosted a concert and silent auction at the Kress Pavilion, music provided by Dorthy Scott and the Peacemakers, and auction items from local artists and businesses. The proceeds went to our friend Jay. It was truly a beautiful outpouring of what a loving and caring community we live in. If you find yourself blessed with a little extra this holiday season, please donate. We will make sure Santa delivers it on time for Christmas. May you all have a loving holiday season.

Feed and Clothe My People is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving residents of Door County. Our mission is to help those in need of food and clothing.

The Door County Housing Partnership provides permanently affordable home ownership opportunities to the year-round workforce, to maintain the wellbeing and character of the Door County community. 

A partnership of over 20 Green Bay area churches with a mission to provide safety, stability, and solutions leading to self-sufficiency for families with children experiencing homelessness and families at risk of homelessness in our community.

Write On, Door County focuses on the importance of writing and reading and the ability of people to connect through stories.
